MyLife Foundation has spent over 10 years understanding the problem and working with the youth of the country on the ground in order to learn and equip itself to be a catalyst for change and healing.
Linzi Thomas the life and soul of MyLife, is a remarkable person. Linzi’s compassion and understanding is enormous. The kids that pass through the doors of MyLife have a chance but for the kids still living on the streets, remains to B! a constant challenge for Linzi. Her perseverance in dealing with this problem is endless; she tackles the difficulties daily with patience and kindness.
MyLife gives the kids understanding, hope, and charity with a vision to better their lives within the community they live.
Last year, Helen Zille and Ndaba Mandela were honoured guests at a fund raising evening, funds were raised and so was the awareness of this incredible task MyLife has embarked upon. The evening was a success as we heard for the first time about the solution in sight.
The Solution
Mylife Foundation, being all about solutions, have worked with the youth and has created a pilot model of an Ubuntu Village where youth at risk will be healed and equipped with skills needed to survive in tomorrow’s world.
