It’s an event when designers, photographers and media come together and set a trend. It’s a happening. It involves hard work, long hours and an influence that marks fashion for what it is.
Stefania Morland took her bow at Fashion Week with the closing show of the season. Her collection was innovative, interesting and fresh. Inspired by birds and their natural habitat, it was not flighty in any way as Stefania merged her collection with nature and humanity. It was simply delightful!
As lovely as Stefania’s collection was, I cringed at the sight of the robotic models trudging down the runway, a trend I find so unattractive, awkward, and totally unflattering to any collection.
I long for the runway model to return to the runway.
