As you drive into the village of Hout Bay with the ocean insight, you will B! amazed to find on your left and right as you enter the village, three art galleries.
Catherine Christie’s gallery was our first stop. We found Catherine to B! confident, happy, out spoken and great fun. Her gallery is edgy, chic, with a wonderfu lspace just perfect for hanging her work. Step over the threshold into Cat’s world of art.
Volia! Modern, ballsy, and great! Check it out!
The Art Gallery was our second stop. Here we found it to be a busy eclectic mind boggling gallery.
John is a collector and loves what he does. He enjoys seeking out pieces that have slipped through the fingers of the bigboys, finding their way into The Art Gallery by way of John’s eagle eyeand not by chance.
The Ghuba Gallery was ourthird stop. The gallery is owned by Nel Luyendyk, who has chosen to collectpaintings and sculptures designed and made by African Artists whose workreflects the heart and soul of Africa. Nel’s personality matches their workwith her respect for art .
Killing three birds with one stone all threeGalleries are on Victoria Avenue in Hout Bay.
