Meeting up with photographer, Michael Chinnici from Red Octopus digital film and marketing company was fantastic! Michael is good looking, cool, calm, collect, creative, talented, and charming.
Wednesday 29thJune, I left my brothers apartment on 65th and 3rd and headed downtown on 5th at about 11.00am. I knew the day was going to be exciting, and visually a major buzz!
I met Michael at Pastis on 9thAvenue in the old meat market district which over the years had a complete makeover from once upon a time, in America (loved that movie) Today it is innovated and absolutely incredible!
Pastis, one of Michaels lunch time haunts, is French all the way, a top nosh laid back eat house. Great atmosphere, very good service, top quality produce and people.
The hottest hotel in the city today is DREAM. This is just what it is a DREAM Hotel that opened early in June. It is not your average romantic vibe, rather high tech super, duper sexy.
Then we went on to the Highline, which for years this decaying derelict subway line that ran downtown – uptown has now been converted into the Highline garden walk way. It is extraordinary, a fantastic concept that suits this Metropolis so well.
The rest of the day was all about the visual, as you will see.
