The key word was Global Party, a worldwide extravaganza inspired by the adventures of fictional character Phileas Fogg, in the book ‘Around the world in 80 days’ written by Jules Verne in 1873.
Setting off from London Phileas Fogg with his trusted man servant started a journey around the world. In the same manner on the 8th September 2011 The Global Party was centre stage at the Natural History Museum as a best seller for The Global Party to raise funds for charities worldwide. One week before the main global journey took place the international fund raisers raised the standard by throwing a worldwide party.
The event went from key cities around the world, 8 exclusive parties took place in venues across the globe all launching within 24 hours linking the world for the very first time in this manner.
Mint Destinations & Productions pulled together their A list for Cape Town’s party which took place on the 15th at the Fez, 50% of the funds went to Saving Private Rhino. Globally George Clooney was seen at the party in Capri supporting one of his charities.
The silver luxury key ring was part of the amazing invitation which unlocked the choice to 1 of the 80+ parties around the world and opened doors to a continually growing list of 1000s of exclusive VIP privileges and personal contacts at luxurious establishments and service providers across the world for life.
The amount of time and effort that went into making this a major worldwide success, raising enormous funds for renowned charities across the globe, was absolutely phenomenal!
Cape Town Buzz was happy to B! Part of The Global Party and undoubtedly one of the biggest parties Cape Town has seen since the world cup!
