Viva la Vida – V for Victory
A decade on with 50 stores in total, Vida has become a landmark. Since its 2001 inception in Cape Town, Vida e Caffé has sought out the hottest spots, attracted the hottest clientele and has the hottest coffee.
Doing it the Vida way, they have gone global with their trendy look, has become part of the daily life in the UK and Angola, as the brand expands.
So when bottom league Constantia tennis team decided at the beginning of league to meet at a Vida before a match, for a Vida! QueenB! and the 3rd league team started a little tradition of having a Vida at the closest Vida to the club where they would B! playing. This has done the trick each time.
We meet and greet, bond and joke, drink our coffee and off we go. Taking on Camps Bay proved to B! our toughest match so far, but! When the going got tough, the tough got going and we won. We have won all our matches, with only three matches to go.
Could it possibly be the vida? ‘Obrigado’(Thank you) Vida e caffé for a kick start buzz before facing our opponents.
