Buzz Restaurants

Pot Luck Club: This is an experience of note! Luke has done it again. His innovative imagination, style, creativity and method in the culinary world have once again taken his diners by mouth-watering storm!tumblr_lyys143bnh1qlsm54 The only downside is that it’s all so delicious you just can’t stop until, you’ve tried it all! The view from the club is great! The staff – on the ball and the rest goes without saying.

Wafu: I love this place. On a hot summers eve there is nothing better than chilling at Wafu. The view of the Atlantic Ocean is sensational. It’s above Wakame so you really can’t beat this one. Wafu is more laid-back, great cocktails. Menu, light Asain tapas, dim sum, sushi and more. You must book and check what day they might B! closed.

Wakame: I have always had a good time and eaten well at Wakame. The view of the Atlantic Ocean as you walk in hits you, it’s great! The food is fantastic! Contemporary fusion of Asain, sushi, French flair and well prepared visually. Large open plan space, small terrace, modern décor and good service. I like to book to B! sure.

Grand Cafe & Beach: This tranquil spot on the beach in Granger Bay is magical any time of day. It is the only beach restaurant in Cape Town so far. Unfortunately it is not a swimming beach. My favourite time is just before sunset, sipping a glass of wine overlooking the ocean.  It is best to book on weekends.

Tashas:  Day in and day out Tashas is jam packed. From one end of the scale to the other, they have found the balance in a variety of dishes that have been tweaked to perfection! They have put together the right formula and it works. First come first served so the wait, can B! long. But! you can sip on a glass of wine on a sofa while you wait, it is so worth it. Only open for lunch and also open on Mondays. No bookings

Burrata: Is food for thought and when it comes to Burrata, there’s not much to think about. It’s simply divine all round. It’s new; it’s edgy, modern and relaxed. Situated in the courtyard of the Biscuit Mill it blends with the atmosphere on market days so it’s best to book. During the week it’s peaceful and chilled.

Cape to Cuba: Eccentric! Cool and voted one of the top 100 hip restaurants in the world, Cape to Cuba has achieved the South American Havana buzz.  The mojito’s are spot on and the food is basic and good.  They have some crazy events on, but you need to check for up dates.

Olympia Cafe: As far as I am concerned, this is where you will find the best mussel’s mariner and a glass of white wine. The café is unpretentious and rustic. Drive through Kalk Bay on your way to the point or on your way back, stop off and chill! The rest of the menu is good, the portions are large. I love it!
