Bars encompass many of our favorite little joys in life. Networking, socialising, chilling over a drink and nosh. I will update my favorite bars on a regular basis.
FYN is fine. In fact its super fine-dining. Ive added it to Bars drop-down quick hit because there is relaxed bar downstairs. Fyn is all about passion and perfection. African inspired with Japanese aesthetics, combining the two. Subtle, tastes, flavors, and visual. Uber exciting, international flair right in the heart of the Mother City

Top floor of the Bailey, there is whiskey tasting room. An extensive whiskey collection will not disappoint whiskey lovers. Innovated idea of Liam Tomlin master chef and owner of The Bailey. A perfect spot for an after dinner nightcap. Your choice will be in the dram you choose. Bottom floor now has a Chef’s Warehouse.

Artezian the new kid on the block on Upper Bree Street officially opened in August 2022 neighboring eat-houses have serious competition to think about. Artezian is a hot spot; it’s an evolving, eclectic hub, sushi bar, art gallery, lounge and boogie bar in the evenings, all in one.

I stumbled across connoisseurs in Gin, when I wanted some Honest Chocolate in the CBD. In the same heritage building I found a spirit that I enjoy at a certain time of day….G&T time. The main attraction in this quaint drinking house is their five House Remedy gin & tonics (Hope, Head, Heart, Ambition and Soul). A tonic at the end of a busy day. Cheers!

I always associate piano bars with New York City. Jazz in the Big Apple. Now! Right here in the Mother City. The Piano Bar has all that jazz, low key and moody. Their cocktails are great. Dirty martini’s, basil martini’s different infused vodka with Cointreau and macadamia extract, a wide variety of flavored Mojito’s. Informal snack food.
47 Napier StreetTwelve Apostles overlooking the ocean. One of the best places to watch the sunset vanish. The mood is laid back jazzy piano bar. Good snacks and cocktails. A mixed crowd. If you going for the sunset get there early to get your spot on the terrace, space is limited.
