YOURS TRULY

A great café and drinking hole. Very buzz-worthy laid back hangout for locals and international visitors. A youngish crowd from backpackers, good value for money pizza, delicious sandwiches, cold beer on tap.

CLARKE’S

Cafe/bar laid back on the pavement; cool, simple inside. At night you can have a burger, or a burger with fries and for our veggie friends black bean something to nosh. During the day the menu is vast! They stock my favorite wine ‘Life of Stone’ they don’t take bookings, you just have to wait at the bar.

Café Charles

Quaint in the heart of De Waterkant. The garden area with fountain is a great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal. Sit under an old Brazilian red peppercorn tree, or the roof deck over looking the city. Try the Malay dishes. I do not recommend the Eggs Benedict not at all authentic. Carrot cake was good.

CAFÉ NOIR

This buzzy-worthy hot spot is a chameleon. By day coffee fix and yummy grub and by night transforming into a funky bar and cool sounds. An all-day hangout and hub at night. Having fun and knowing where to go 24/7. It’s an all in one hot spot from morning to night.

Olympia Café

The café is unpretentious, grungy in a rustic sort of way. But! This is where you will find the best mussel’s mariner and a glass of white wine in Cape Town. Drive through Kalk Bay on your way to the point or on your way back, stop off  no need to book. The rest of the menu is good, the portions are large.
