Not much beats this view and the relaxed atmosphere. I often go just to be there. Have a glass of Constantia Glen Sauvignon blanc and their delicious Flammkuchen (Pizza) and absorb the experience.

Klein Constantia Bistro

One of my absolute favorite eating-houses. On a perfect summers day the deck is a dream. In winter indoors is cozy and intimate. The menu is seasonal so chef can create with the best ingredients available. There is a set menu. Everything is exquisite.

Grand Cafe & Beach

This tranquil spot on the beach in Granger Bay is magical any time of day. It’s the only beach restaurant in Cape Town so far. Unfortunately it is not a swimming beach. My favorite time just before sunset, sipping a glass of wine overlooking the ocean. Best to book on weekends.

Tashas

Day in and day out Tashas in Consantia is jam packed. They have found the balance in a variety of dishes that have been tweaked to perfection. First come first served so the wait, can be long. You can always sip on a glass of wine on a sofa while you wait. Only open for lunch and also open on Mondays. No bookings

The Bungalow

The Bungalow really chilled. Lunch time during the week in summer is great, weekends more fun. The view is good. My favorite spot is on the deck facing the ocean, or on a lounger watching the sunset. The interior is well done. upbeat. Evenings take on a whole new persona. Must book in summer.

Salushi

Salushi is always good. They were in the Indaba building in Claremont now they just round the corner. Salushi has been one of my all time best sushi restaurants. Great value for money and an interesting array of carefully thought after signature sushi rolls. Of course there is the classic sushi. My favorite is the Bon Bon gift.
