Tintswalo Atlantic Intimate Hotel

Sadly this Tintswalo was devastated in the 2015 fire. The new Tintswalo has been rebuilt.

There is something so wonderful about waking up to the sound of lapping waves and the sun streaming in through the smallest gap between the curtains. This blissful moment as you wake can be confusing and puzzling, until you get your bearing’s. How wonderful, I was at Tintswalo Atlantic intimate Hotel in Hout Bay.

The smell of the ocean and the screeching seagulls will greet you as you step out onto your terrace that literally hangs over the rocks that lead into the ocean. Across the bay, the fishing village on one side of the Sentinel Mountain is quiet and peaceful. The ocean and the sunsets are so incredible you will catch your breath and not want to move.

This is an example of what to expect when you stay at Tintswalo. Once you go through the security gates on the road to Chapman’s Peak, you are in excellent hands. This little sanctuary is hidden deep down among the rocks in Hout Bay, discreet, charming and so beautiful, you will always want to be part of this extraordinary experience. I am not surprised Matt Damon chose Tintswalo when he last stayed in Cape Town. Star quality, star service all for a star!

I can assure you, Tintswalo is an experience you will not forget in a hurry, you will receive nothing but the best, as we did.
