STREETS OF MANHATTEN

11.00am Wednesday 29thJune, I left 65th and 3rd and headed downtown on 5th. I knew the day was going to be interesting, exciting, and visually a major buzz! I was meeting up with photographer, Michael Chinnici from Red Octopus digital film and marketing company in NYC. Michael is cool, calm and collect, very talented and charming too.
We met at Pastis on 9th Avenue in the old meat market district. Over the years this district has had a complete and utter makeover since once upon a time in America. Pastis, French of course is one of Michael’s lunchtime haunts. Great eat-house with a buzz atmosphere, very good service, top quality food and packed with fun interesting people.
Then on to the Dream, the hottest and newest hotel in the city. The Dream is just that! It’s not your average romantic vibe, rather high tech super, duper, uber sexy vibe.
For years an above ground decaying derelict subway line has been converted into the Highline. The subway used to run downtown/uptown and now it’s a garden walk way. This fantastic, bazaar, concept is a major hub in the NYC Metropolis. The rest of the day was all about the visual as you will see by our pics The Big Apple remains to be one of my favorite cities in the world!
