The fashion buzz this week is a fashion boutique in Newlands. PureCouture offers luxury fashion with a range of looks and styles, from Graham & Spencer, Twin-Set, Wild Fox, Lauren Moshi and Mother Denim. These have been spotted on celebrities such as Alessandra Ambrosio, Halle Berry, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Emily Blunt, and Emma Watson.

Melissa Hardman, owner and founder of PureCouture saw the need to bring in a wider selection of top quality, chic, uber-sexy garments for stylish women in South Africa. She came up with the goods when she went “back to basics” and concentrated on sourcing good quality fabrics and functional clothing that has the X- Factor in edgy fashionable attire.

Melissa asked Vivid Luxury Marketing to organize a launch at the Twelve Apostles and to invite media, bloggers, and guests. As I gazed around the room there was an obvious reaction of appreciation for top quality brands coming into South Africa and, once again, Vivid Luxury organised a super chic tea at noon and a high tea at five.

I agree, there is nothing better than the best quality. Pure cashmere, pure cotton, pure silk and pure wool and now, PureCouture with some of the best of these. My best buzz is that we won’t have to wait two seasons to get access to what’s available in Europe or wait for the next trip to Europe. The new boutique in Newlands will give us the option to indulge in the latest trends and styles from Los Angeles, Paris, Milan, and more.

PureCuture is not a Fashion House in Europe, it’s European fashion, housed in Cape Town.
