RIEBEEK KASTEEL OLIVE FEST

This year from the 3^rd to 5^th May 2013 the Riebeek Valley has its annual Olive Fest. Once a year Riebeek Kasteel valley comes alive over a bustling two day weekend during the olive festival. You can be sure that any foodie’s calendar is marked for these two days. We did it and we loved it!

Get yourself the Olive Passport – valid for the entire weekend. This Passport allows you the entry to Kloovenburg, Het Vlock Casteel, Riebeek Cellars, the Olive Boutique, the Olive Emporium, Allesverloren and Pulpit Rock. The Olive Passport costs R100 (under 18 free) – Includes a complimentary tasting glass and free tastings of olives or wine at the above-mentioned venues.

A good munch for lunch is Bar Bar Black Sheep. Situated right in the heart of the village… Blah! Blah! Blah!

Bookings are essential as during the fest it gets very busy.
