KRYSTAL BEACH HOTEL

It is crystal clear to me what the owner Mr. Samuel Foyou, of the 4 stars Krystal Beach Hotel has in mind. This newly renovated hotel is modern, functional, pleasing to the eye, with an edgy retro design, that bridges the gap between work and play. The leisure travelers, businessmen and conference delegates, will find a dynamic environment that facilitates life while on the move.
Situated on the waterfront of the paradisiacal Harbour Island, in Gordon’s Bay, the hotel, opened its doors to the public in March 2016 – it is strategically placed and in reality only (30 kms) to Cape Town Metropolitan area and the Airport. Easy access to the Cape Winelands in Stellenbosh and Franchhoek, not to mention, the magnificent coastal drive that takes you through to Hermanus. In season, you can have a whale of a time watching the whales blow and breach in their breeding ground.
My personal experience at the Krystal Beach was relaxed in a quiet ambience, chilled atmosphere and warm hospitality. The various amenities are also in the spotlight – Marine Green Harbor for hands on fishing and deep-sea fishing. A Spa with Kalahari treatments a Gym and outdoor pool.
For all you foodies out there, the chef will delight your taste buds with scrumptious dishes, paired with good wine suggested by Francois Esterhuizen our Sommelier, to compliment the overall experience.
The buzz-worthy aspect of the hotel, is that there is an evolving art exhibition, with contemporary art in the resident gallery, going by the name of Ndiza – I found this to be quite impressive because the space created here is uncharted water for one of the largest galleries in the area. My feelings are that the Krystal Beach has a bright-innovative future.
I now look forward to the official launch of the Gallery on the 28th of May
